Zeiger, meanwhile, did not attend college after high school. When his father died of a heart attack, the youngster grew up swiftly. He found a job after graduating from high school to help support his mother, who was on state aid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Zeiger still dreamed of working in radio, so he relocated to Florida. There were more prospects for inexperienced radio hosts in this city. The young man was hired by a radio station, but his duties included cleaning the facility and completing tasks for other staff members. However, he received a favorable response from fate. Once, a radio host failed to show up for work. Zeiger was given the opportunity to go live. Although he accepted the proposal, the young man was terrified. He then made an appearance on television and assisted a comedian, Jackie Gleason.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 1971, King was arrested on theft charges. Although a year later, the charges were dropped. He was, nevertheless, fired from the radio station. Following that, Larry King left Florida.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 1978, Larry King began presenting his own show, The Larry King Show, which initially aired in 28 cities in the United States of America, and subsequently in 118. Larry hosted it from midnight until 5.30 a.m., Monday through Friday. This show was incredibly popular.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 1985, the television show Larry King Live premiered. Larry conducted interviews with politicians, show business stars, businessmen, artists and others.
